Over 40 years ago, Towlift began offering training classes to its customers. They needed an OSHA-compliant training program for forklift operation, and Towlift's team had the expertise. The training program grew until it required more capacity. So we founded The Forklift Training Center (TFTC) to serve the growing customer base.
My forklift training class at Forklift Training Center was first rate. I learned all the basic skills needed to operate a class 4 truck, plus many tricks and helpful hints (like how to anticipate the pivot points and how to read a forklift data plate). My trainer Chuck McConnell was fantastic and spent a lot of one-on-one time with me honing my driving skills. Although it was an intense learning experience, it was also a lot of fun! I highly recommend this course if you really want the full experience of operating a forklift.
How? OSHA regulations say that training must be truck-specific and site-specific. We combine these and train customers' operators on their own unique operating environment, and their specific equipment.
